When you know you've seen this movie before — but you can't remember a thing about it

This has been happening to me more and more often recently: I see various titles on Netflix et al and I recognize the actors and scenes pictured on the screenshots and I think "Hey, I've seen that."

But then I try to remember what it's about and I haven't a clue.

So I watch it and as it progresses I recognize scenes I've seen before but I have no idea what comes next so I keep watching.

Last night it happened with "Code Name: Emperor."

I never had this happen to me up until fairly recently, perhaps a couple years ago.

I suppose it's inevitable.
