This is likely my most useful post this year.

kanopy [sic] is a streaming movie app/channel that's free (the way we like it) to all.

No ads, no fine print, no catches, no hidden agendas.

To use it there's only one requirement: you need a library card from a U.S. library. 

Any library.

Get your card out and follow the instructions.

I spent some time yesterday browsing its offerings and they're staggering: thousands of movies, nicely categorized and labeled to make it easy to find what you're in the mood for.

I have 61 films on my IMDB Watchlist, most of them for years: I found 2 on kanopy ready to watch.

Amazing and wonderful.
